This educational tutorial will show you how to easily manage the 'Colourful World' Joomla template.
I. Llog into your own Joomla Admin Panel. Enter your log-in details and click the Login button.
II. Go to the Extensions drop-down menu and select the Template Manager option.
III. Set 'Colourful World' as default skin for your Joomla based site. The default template is marked with a star. In this movie clip - the default Joomla 1.5 template is 'Mobile Solutions'. Now, select 'Colourful World' from the list of templates already installed in your Admin Panel and hit the Default button in the upper right corner.
IV. Click on the template's name to go to the edit-template interface.
Here is how to Change the Color of 'Colourful World' Joomla 1.5 template.
1. To preview the template with the BLUE color theme set as default, simply click-open the Preview link in a new tab. This will show the template as it will appear in live mode.
2. If necessary - go back to the Joomla Admin Panel to change the color theme.
3. Now select a different color.
4. Hit the Apply button.
5. Reload the browser to see the template in the newly set color theme as it will appear online. As you can see, the template's color scheme has changed from delicate blue (the default template color) to light green.
6. Hit the Save button to have all updates you make to the template's color and layout reflected in live mode.
