1. Log into your Joomla Admin Panel, by typing your username and password and hitting the Login button.
2. Now you need to upload the Joomla 1.5 theme you have already downloaded from the web.
a. To do this - select Install/Uninstall from the Extensions menu.
b. Go to the Upload Package File blank field and click Choose to browse to the desired Joomla 1.5 file archive.
c. Select the file, hit Open and then the Upload File and Install button.
3. Now you need to set the installed Joomla theme as a default skin for your Joomla website.
a. Go again to the Extensions menu and select the Template Manager option.
b. Select the desired Joomla theme from the list of installed templates and hit the Default button in the right upper corner of your screen.
4. Now preview the installed Joomla theme in live mode. Still on the same page in your Admin Panel, click on the Preview link in the header area to view your newly installed Joomla theme as it will appear on the web.
