This movie will teach you how to easily manage the 'Vortex Multi-Colour Joomla template.
I. Log into your own Joomla Admin Panel. Type in your username and password and click the LOGIN button.
II. Go to the Extensions drop-down menu and scroll down to Template Manager.
III. The first step is to set 'Vortex Multi-Colour' as a default skin for your Joomla site. The default template is marked with a star. In our video example - the default Joomla 1.5 template is 'Colourful World'. Now, select 'Vortex Multi-Colour' from the list of templates already installed in your Admin Panel, by marking its checkbox.
IV. When ready hit the Default button in the upper right corner to confirm your selection.
V. Next click on the template's name to go to the edit-template interface.
The first edit-template option is Change Color.
1. To preview the template with the default RED color theme activated by default, simply click the Preview link and open the template in a new tab. This will open for you the template as it will appear in live mode.
2. To change the color theme just go back to the Joomla Admin Panel.
3. Select a different color from the Colour Variation drop-down menu.
4. Hit the Apply button.
5. Reload the browser to see the template's colour scheme turn from RED to the newly set BLUE colour.
The same way you can change the template color scheme anytime you want.
To have the new change reflected in live mode you should hit the Save button.
Video Tutorials
